The [lang id =1028]三身 are the [lang id =1028]法, [lang id =1028]報, and [lang id =1028]應; the [lang id =1028]三德 are [lang id =1028]法, [lang id =1028]般, and [lang id =1028]解, i.e. the virtue, or merit, of the (a) [lang id =1028]法身 being absolute independence, reality; of (b) [lang id =1028]報身, being [lang id =1028]般若 (sa) prajñā or wisdom; and of (c) [lang id =1028]應身, being [lang id =1028]解脫德 liberation, or Nirvāṇa.
